SIMs: he comes in the rain
You know, it's sort of tragic that a good portion of my flist was met through Loveless fandom. Is there anyone even REALLY following it right now? And I don't mean just sticking around for The End to get closure.
So anyway, here is a little Naruto Shippuden spoof and an ode to the series that first put me on the SIMming map.
Okay, so what does Suigetsu have anything to do with Loveless? Take a closer look -- he used to be my Zero's Natsuo.
Settling surprisingly well into his darker, killer persona, Suigetsu's idling is interrupted when a young genin stumbles onto the forest floor beside him.
Obito: 'Ah, sorry! I-I lost my footing in that last jump!'
Obito: *cries* 'I can't do it! I'm never going to be a ninja!'
Something about the little one's plight touches a part of Suigetsu (that perhaps used to be Natsuo) and he offers to train Obito to become a better ninja and get over his 'clutziness'.
But don't be fooled! Suigetsu isn't one of those sexy bad boys with a heart of gold.
Suigetsu: 'I have gained the trust of the young Uchiha named Obito.'
Pein: 'Good. He is the key to the Hatake-Uchiha line. Through him you will get Sasuke.'
Suigetsu: 'And what is he t--'
Pein: 'He and Itachi must be terminated. That is all you need to know.'
MY SIMS HAVE FORETOLD THE FUTURE, and it is BETRAYAL! But why would Suigetsu betray someone he doesn't even know yet?
Power (by becoming a member of Akatsuki)?
Vengeance (for the mass extermination of all things Loveless in the game besides Beloved)?
Or could it be...
Suigetsu: 'You look mighty fine tonight. My feelings for you were never a secret. What about we have that date you promised me?'
Pein: 'Your mission is not yet finished, Suigetsu.'
THE DEATH OF RITSUKA
Let's see if you can tell just how >_____< I am about the last two chapters.
In what should've been yet another routine nightly visit to the Aoyagi home, Soubi is horrified to find the broken, earless, tail-less, LIFELESS body of Ritsuka lying on the floor.
You are still my favorite Prince of Angst, Soubi. ♥
Seimei: 'In the end, you always belonged to me.'
Shut up, I'm still in Beloved denial. And you just KNOW that's what's going to happen with what Ritsuka STUPIDLY did the last chapter. Anyway, as the SOLE master of Soubi once again, Seimei orders him to accompany him to a high stakes game of cards the following morning.
Kazuya: 'Mmmm, so this is the first Beloved fighter. He is quite the dish, Seimei.'
Seimei: 'That he is. And all mine now.'
Soubi: '...'
And so the game begins! Counter-clockwise, starting from the left: Shin, Kazuya, a mourning Soubi and Seimei.
Seimei: 'The name of the game is STRIP POKER. Soubi, take off your shirt.'
The game goes pretty quick (WEEE HOW THE CLOTHES FLY!)
But from the get-go, there is an obvious bias in the game. Soubi's down to his skivvies and Seimei's still FULLY CLOTHED!
Shin: 'No good. This is no good...'
Seimei: 'Gentleman, Soubi has folded and there is no one STRAIGHT here. I do believe the next person out must go with him in the next room, yes?
HE TALKS SO DIIIIIIIIIRTY. I love him. I really really do.
Seimei: 'Well, Shin, will this be the first time you've seen a full grown male projectile?'
Seimei: 'Soubi, stand up.'
Shin: O______O
Shin: 'Man, that Seimei is creepy. He doesn't really expect us to--'
Soubi: 'Yes, he does. *smiles sadly* Seimei's word is law.'
Shin: 'Hey, what's wrong? Why are you stopping?'
Soubi: *sniffs* 'You... smell of Ritsuka.'
Shin: *blushes* 'I--- he--- '
Soubi: 'Impossible! You smell innocent. Yet you're...'
Shin: 'Also a little... loveless... no?'
Shin: 'I know why your heart bleeds. Let me, just this once...'
[Later]
Seimei: 'Are you questioning my orders now?'
Soubi: 'I...'
Seimei: 'You hesitated, Soubi.'
Seimei: 'You know why, don't you? That boy. Ritsuka's ears...'
Seimei: 'What good are you to me if you're broken?'
Soubi: 'I'm sorry. I---'
Seimei: 'Go home, Soubi.'
Shin: 'WHAT !!! How --- where's Soubi!?'
Seimei: 'It doesn't matter, you won't see him again. His reaction to you was -- unexpected.'
Shin: 'He... he knew then...'
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the neighborhood...
Itachi Jr: 'There is a disruption in my rain. He's here.'
new!Seimei: 'Hmm. So this is where he is.'
new!Seimei: 'Soubi II, I'm here.'
YES, I was frustrated by the last few Loveless chapters. RITSUKA YOU'RE AN IDIOT. SOUBI YOU ARE TOO.
YES, I was playing till 3am on 3 cups of espresso.
YES, I just really wanted to test out the strip poker table.
And YES, it was bloody marvellous.
