http://insomniel.deviantart.com/art/Mulan-ATC-310909072?q=gallery%3Ainsomniel&qo=0 I finished the Mulan trading card, it's probably not my best card, and certainly not the best scan of the cards, but I'm done revamping the old series, huzzah! Time to begin the new princesses, Pocahontas, Tiana and Rapunzel and maybe even the non-princesses.
Over the weekend, I took my mom on the train to go downtown because she's been going on for years how she wanted to take the trains to places to not have to deal with driving and parking, etc. But she felt sick on the way back and then threw up when we got home, so I guess that idea fell out of favor with her now. I love taking trains in downtown cities, I love the sticky floors, the cry of babies, the stench of homeless people, the sights of the ghettos, it's like a feast for the senses, I don't know why anyone would want to vomit going on the train. Totally an adventure, am I right?
I also caught up with Legend of Korra. It was good, but at the same time, not good. Feel free to disagree, but the romance part was such a turn-off, if I had entertained any ideas of meeting a nice person to share my life with, that whole love quadrangle mess in Korra would have changed my mind. Seriously if Penny Arcade made a comic about it, you know it wasn't any good. The Pearl Harbor scene for the win.
Welp, that's all. I have all of these great plans that never come to fruition. But I will be seeing Brave on Wednesday and Abraham Lincoln Saturday night. I'll catch you guys on the flipside.
