As the first sign in the zodiac, and corresponding with the first day of spring, the Aries individual is a mover and shaker, fearlessly forging ahead or "springing forth" into new territory. Indeed, some very influential historical characters are found under this sign including Thomas Jefferson (April 13) and Leonardo Da Vinci (April 15). The raw power of the Aries/Taurus cusp personality gone bad is epitomized by none other than Adolph Hitler (April 20).
Aries is the sign of the self, people born under this sign strongly project their personalities onto others and can be very self-oriented. Aries tend to venture out into the world and leave impressions on others that they are exciting, vibrant and talkative. Aries tend to live adventurous lives and like to be the center of attention, but rightly so since they are natural, confident leaders. Aries are enthusiastic about their goals and enjoy the thrill of the hunt, "wanting is always better then getting" is a good way to sum it up. Aries are very impulsive and usually do not think before they act - or speak. Too often Aries will say whatever pops into their head and usually end up regretting it later!
The Aries woman: This independent lady knows what she wants and isn't the least bit shy about going after it. Aries women have quick tempers and may often give the impression of bossiness. These women have a bold sense of style that adds to their natural beauty. They prefer to be noticed for their intellect and capabilities rather than for their good looks.
An Aries born on March 25 is naturally shy, even though they possess the ability to shine at any gathering. At times, they display strong social skills and may be the life of the party. But in reality these individuals draw strength from a rich and creative inner life.
Given their emotional depth, it isn't unusual that March 25 people express much of their energy through relationships. They may have a great many social friends but few close ones. Although their love life is often turbulent, romance is always their primary form of experience. They are able to bring out the best qualities in a loved one.
People born on this day have a strong desire to be famous. Since fame is not always possible, many of these individuals are satisfied with being widely known within a circle of colleagues.
There are few goals that March 25 people cannot achieve. Goals take on the weight of a quest, and dreams become vivid and dramatic. They inspire others by the grandeur of their hopes and dreams.

I love how so little of the Aries horoscope applies to me, it is the reason I don't believe in the zodiac. I don't consider myself a good leader, I'm not headstrong or adventurous, I'm the opposite of assertive and I'm pretty sure I don't have the type of passionate sex drive they are thinking about. However the vindictive, selfish and egotistical part applies to me quite well!
Anyways, yesterday was the day that all the medical and pharmacy students find out if they get matched to a residency. As expected in my life and not according to my horoscope, I did not get accepted into any residency program and spent the entire day near to tears or crying even at the party with all the other students and residents, some of whom got into the residencies I was applying for. (No jelly, no jelly.)
I wouldn't say that I am sad about not getting accepted, although that is a huge blow to my ego as I am a very smart and dedicated and qualified student. It is more because I am at a loss of what to do now without the residency giving me the training and credentials for the difficult-yet-rewarding career I was hoping I could get. Now I am so stressed about the future. I've talked to students a thousand times smarter and more assertive than me, who had residencies, who still couldn't get the jobs they want. So how will I get the job I want? Luck? Lots of bribing? I don't want to work at the pharmacy in the projects that gets robbed every other week, surely they won't make a woman do that, but haha, the majority of pharmacists are female now.
I need to get back to training and applying for the commissioned corps. I had hoped it would not come to this, but it seems plan last resort will now become backup plan.
Oh well...
