Yep, I have been on Twitter and Facebook instead. My bad.
Sorry, everyone! I have been lax about posting on livejournal, mostly because my life is the same thing day after day. But also livejournal is a no-no during class, whereas Twitter and Facebook is okay because the school has a facebook page and a twitter (lol). So when I get home, I'm too tired to think of something clever to write in livejournal...
But here are some things that are currently of importance to me.
1. I am on the formal planning committee, and I've been assigned designing an email invitation and a ticket sales banner. Even though I have previously not given a crap about school dances. Woe.
2. I would like to buy a new dress for formal, but nothing I've found in the mall suited me. All strapless or plunging necklines or too long and tight for a short and stout Asian. I do have two strapless dresses I could wear, but they are somber colors, and I was hoping to get a bright color, like pink or purple or green-blue. Maybe. My budget is kind of low though, since this is kind of low priority compared to getting a new laptop or you know, a car...
3. I went to Corpus Christi yesterday with the intent of finding stuff for me and my bro, and bought Tolkien's translation of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and some Hildegard von Bingen chant. Also got me a wine glass, savon de Marseille soap in green tea scent, and some fucking awesome Hi-chews. If you've ever eaten Hi-chews, you'd be addicted. I have never met a person who ate a Hi-chew and didn't want more. Currently drinking wine out of the glass, feeling like the rich person I am not.
4. Ordered some stuff to be sent to this address, but they haven't come after two/five weeks and I am worried... Who would steal my France coaster? I don't know...
5. Also been trying to work out more... in case zombies attack. I'll still be eaten first, but at least I'll survive for longer than a minute now.
6. School totally sucks, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Just gotta hold on and keep working hard...
7. As for the art and writing I owe, I am currently wondering if I could do it while drunk...
