Vampires and witches

Today's music is from anime soundtracks. I already uploaded my best Halloween songs last year, har har.

Taku Iwasaki - Suspicion: from the Witch Hunter Robin soundtrack, a lovely and typically ominous soundtrack piece for those tense situations. Delicate, understated but ever so slightly menacing, which totally fits in with this series that no one else seems to like.

Vampire Miyu TV OST - Catharsis of Fate: elegant vampire music with gorgeous strings and synthetic crystal bell sounds. Like a waltz of ghosts, with faint Asian influences. I know I uploaded a Vampire Miyu song before, I hope it was not this one!

Konami Kukeiha Club - Divine Bloodlines (Airwave mix): a sweet trancy rave version of an original track, has all that sheeeeeewm and chow chow chow and beep booop sound effects you would expect. Perfect music if you ever want to slay vampires with glowsticks... and your dance moves.

Konami Kukeiha Club - Requiem: a gorgeous operatic piece by full choir in Latin or something like that. Stately and melancholy, reminiscent of the requiems composed by Mozart. It never fails to send chills down my back. Oh, looks like I have the female solo version as well, it's very lovely. I CAN SPEAK ENGRISH GOOD.

Silicon Knights - Black Rose: This is an awesome instrumental track, dark and moody, supposedly from the Eternal Darkness videogame. I believe it was a psychological horror game in which your health affected your sanity, and the more insane you go, the more weird things happen on screen, like screams and blood running down the walls, stuff like that. That's related to Halloween, right?

I am Ghost - Interlude - Remember This Face, Baby: My brother sent me their new album, which is sexy and screamy and the epitome of what horror metal should be about. This is a spoken interlude of the lover who came back to see you even though you could have sworn they were dead. Muttering against a synthesized background, no actual metal, although if you found the Joker's voice annoying in Dark Knight, this might annoy you, too, hah hah.

John Murphy - The Beginning: From the "28 Days Later" soundtrack, which is actually rather lovely in a morbid sort of way. This track starts off with static and terrifying soundbytes from television, which segues nicely into a quiet and moody electronic melody. Breathy sound effects make for some jolly good fun! I could upload every track on this album, seriously.

Silent Hill - The Night of Day (remix): from the game Silent Hill, not the band. I don't know who the artist is but this is a smooth ambient track, complete with sound effects from the game, like footsteps and crickets. Very short...

Zyko - Transformants and Brevity (OC remix): remix from Final Fantasy 7, The Nightmare Begins (Vincent's theme.) The original track is one of my favorite tracks from the game, and this is the creepiest remake you'll ever come across. Acoustic and electric guitars, humming, incoherent muttering and strange sound effects worthy of our Vincent's idiosyncrasies. I like to listen to this through earphones and then try to go to sleep. Try.

Today was the pledge picnic at the beach. It was a lovely day outside, sunny but clear and fairly cool. I made chocolate chip muffins and for once they didn't suck. The pledge class has a lot of work to do, that is the kindest thing I can think of to say about my classmates.

I'm exhausted, exhausted and disheartened and lonely and not wanting to study. But that's how I feel all the time!
