what is the gaht dang DEAL, man? well, heard from my scoopie today. miss him a bunch (duh).
work has been very busy ... learning new things every day. gets a little stressful, because there is tension b/t my sup and the receptionist. but everything's goin alright.
i'm working hard and very well, and from what i understand, they're pleased with me. [whoop whoop]
my niece should be born quite soon. really ready for that to happen. my only problem? my brother isn't facing up to reality. gah, man ... it's so frustrating. i love my brother, you know? and even though my niece hasn't been born, i love her, too. (i bought her the CUTEST onesies, you guys!!)
i don't want for my brother to be a deadbeat ... and i don't want for my niece to wonder why her father doesn't have too much to do with her.
you know, there are going to be summers when she comes and stays with me and scoopie - i don't want her to ask why she has more interaction with me and my family than she does with her own daddy!
goodness - no child should have to wonder things like that. no child should have to feel as if their parent doesn't want them.
i have a supreme dislike for deadbeat parents. that isn't just for deadbeat sperm donors - that's for deadbeat EGG DONORS, too!
females are always talkin about deadbeat dads, but there are plenty of deadbeat mothers, too.
i thank God, just knowing i'm going to be a good mommy & scoopie's gonna be an EXCELLENT father.
anyway ... i just thought i'd write a little bit, considering no one really knows what's going on in the life of me.
staying @ my friend cindy's - i've been house-sitting & babysitting since thursday ... last day = tomorrow.
i <3 staying @ her place, don't get me wrong. her bed = awesome. bunch of fluffy pillows. a down-filled comforter (omG! - how lush is that?)
her tub? huge oval garden tub ... as a matter of fact - i'm about to go back over there and soak in that huge tub.
i'll holla.
