I firmly believe that there is an outrageous contrast between drug use and drug abuse. A drug addict is not a competent human being that uses drugs, it is someone who lets their soul disembogue and leaves their empty shell behind to feed off the only thing that keeps their lifeless, worthless corpse around to take up space. They are nothing but ( Read more... )

I agree with you for the most part, and that's why I have the respect for you that I do. But I do think that that someone who's never touched a drug in their life can go on to live just as fulfilling life, if not more, than a drug "user." Some people are content with not knowing that experience, and that should be just fine. It's up to them to decide whether to use and subsequently, whether or not they want to risk throwing their life away because using drugs develops into a complete addiction.

But I know you're better than that, and that's why I don't scorn you for drugs the way I would other people. Because I know you're much better than that; you wouldn't let it happen.

I miss you. Pine View just isn't the same anymore.

haha we're all so misunderstood
nat wrote a 20 page paper about exactly the same issue.. you should read it sometime ;). and for above..drugs and throwing your life away dont have a direct correlation. a weak minded, cowardly person is the key element that is required in creating an addict. the majority of intellectuals have the ability to control their actions, and in a sense, the extent to which they allow the drug(s) to impact their lives.

Exactly.

It's funny we're almost entirely on the same page in life. But because we probably both procrastinate and have some element of social anxiety we'll never take the neccessary steps in becoming the soul mates we probably could/should be. hahah

I knew it was you right off the bat and yea I bet that'd be a worthwhile read.

I think heroin is not one of the drugs you can use to further explore your psyche. I think it's kind of just a simple way to make yourself temporarily feel good. It's an easy out and it's asking for addiction. Those are the kind of drugs that you take once you've become an addict.

I've read about shrooms and acid and I have the right to respect them both. I never discussed what a trip is like..I never even said the word acid or the word shrooms. All I said in reference to either of those is that psychadelics play a huge part in life. If you ever read Terrance McKenna's book or any other works of people that are passionate about the subject, you'd know how important they were without actually trying them yourself. The only thing you wouldn't know is how they feel and I never even touched on that subject. The entire fucking entry was on what drugs mean to the world.. not how they feel or what they're like so that's entirely irrelevant.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY THOUGH, BITCH. jkjjkjk

I just happened to come by this page and read this post and felt the need to comment (that was a terrible sentence). You know me, but I dont particularly want what I am about to say out in public.

I have been an anti pot kinda guy for awhile and I was recently conviced to try it. Your post here is very true, to live life without ever trying something like pot is crazy. Not only is it ridiculous to deny that curiousity, passing up pot is like denying a land mark of the 20th century. Anyway, I just wanted to say how right I think you are about most of what you said because I have told you that you were wrong before.
