i sure know how to choose 'em
last night i was hanging out at mogley's and there was a lull in conversation when he was making dinner and out of no where he says:
"so i think i'm ready for a career change" and he pauses for a while, so i of course bite and ask what he's thinking. he responds:
"i'm going to be a lobsterman"
me: "what?! like on a boat in maine?"
dan: "yeah that's usually where they are"
and then i just started laughing, because of course. one boy went to africa, so it's only logical that another should be on a boat in the ocean.
after he accuses me of laughing at his dreams, he said he was just kidding, he doesn't know when he's going to do that, but he wants to have as many random jobs as he can in his 20s. soo we'll see how much longer this lasts, like a typical 23/24 year old i think he might be getting a little freaked out by how actual this pseudo relationship is
