Oh La La

Went to the Cinema Cabaret tonight! All I can say is that you really did miss something if you weren't there. Len is absolutely fabulous with his movie "Help", and Jamie got everyone to hoot and holler from "The Boy...", and the film "The Zims" and "The Dream" indeed made my laugh uncontrollably, and Jackie's "Detour" was a successful suspense--the Hitchcock influence was definitely noticeable (and that's good)--and Dylan, Dylan, I have never (and will never) hear/see a better rendition of Goodnight Moon than his in Saverio's and Nick's Film; which was fabulosis might I add. But I must say that the last, and animated, film about the totem pole stole the night. This could be because I wasn't prepared for something so hysterical or it could just be the fact that the simpleist things (though making it must have been hell for that one and a half week) capture the crowd. Justin and his band ( The Truth) played at the begining and during intermission and it's always a treat to hear them; Gabbie and Julia "discussed" Kahn's dad (Mr. Miller, watch out!); Kahn fluttered about making sure that everything went ok; and Crystal and I met Saverio's parents. I told them that I had eloped with their son and they welcomed me into the family. (I'm not sure, but I think Saverio's father is a mob boss; ROCK). Afterwards, Julia, Crystal and I stopped in at tower, where Julia bought a Cream and a Beach Boys CD and I got a magazine with the Vines on the cover (I KNEW they were coming back), Crystal haddn't enough cashola to get anything--Crystal, I feel your pain--but she and Julia had the funniest (I wish I could italicize that) conversation which eventually led into a bet. Good luck with that one both of you.
At the moment, aside from writing in here, I'm feeling a bit peckish and feel up for a bit o Lucky Charms...those little marshmallow chunks are just too enticing!! But sometime during the early hours I'll get some homework done. Dante club tomorrow.
