another beautiful day.....
So, we went out to Chili's yesterday. We were talking to the kids about school when Austin told us that he is learning how to save peoples' lives in science. Hmmm. Then he goes on about what to do if someone's bleeding. That you should put baking soda on poison ivy. That he knows how to save someone from choking...and that he can save himself by putting his fists above his novel....HAHAHAHHA. So I ask him what a novel is...and he said he didn't know,but it had to be on his belly cuz the picture showed the guy putting his hands above the belly.So we told him it was navel and explained that that was his belly button.It's amazing what they are learning.
I was watching Titanic a couple days ago and he told me that almost 1500 people including crew members died on that ship. That it left England in 1941..Then he asked if that was right, hmmm....I don't know. He said he read a book on iceburgs last year and that was in there. So, okay then. Sometimes I wonder if, when he grows up, he's going to remember everytime I did something to let him down...
Sam is doing better in school, her teacher said she still catches her trying to talk every once in a while, but she is either getting sneakier- or she's really doing better, that's something to think about I guess.
Brad has been a little touchier lately, undrestandable though....He has been driving to Naples almost every day. I really wish he could take a break- even for a day. He needs it really bad...I love him sooo much and I am worried that if he doesn't take one he will go nuts. He is doing well with the business though, so hey, that's good right? I always believed in him. Funny how things work out....
So, I'll leave you with one question, that's been asked time and time again...
"What are you willing to give up, to get what you want?"
