Uh-huh, the title says it all. I found a Japanese store in existence in OMAN! That is as often as finding someone in a bikini on a Saudi public beach. Serendipity? Much :D What's even more awesome is that there's another branch of the very same store in Oman 8D It's called Daiso, and apparently it's an international chain thing so I bet you'd find it elsewhere. ANDDDD everything's so cheap!! I mean come on, what can you buy for 600 baizas these days? Not even a tube of Pringles :| So haha I went and bought myself highlighters in all colors of the rainbow, a pack of normal writing pens also in said colors, and more fine-tipped felt pens ALSO IN EVERY COLOR because I love collecting pens OTL. And then I bought an awesome mug with the Periodic Table on it, and some hair accessories (which would be pretty useless once I get my hair cut again - which is soon). I still kinda regret not buying that funky stationary and post-its I saw, and those neat little folders and card holders and... eheheheh :|
I also came across some really really tiny men's underwear and I was standing there, staring at them, thinking: OHGOD ARE JAPANESE MEN THAT TINY BECAUSE OMYGOD THOSE ARE SOME REALLY REALLY TINY UNDERWEAR :| Hopes of marrying a Japanese ninja are totally dashed ahem
I also got three new pairs of shoes!!! One really cheap one for walking everywhere, and two out of a special offer :D I really wanted the purple checked one but they didn't have one for my size (which is huge urgh I have big feet) so I had to make do with the blue one. And the other one is black and hot pink bahahaha XD I always wanted some flamboyant shoes okayyyyy? Now all I need is a neon green hat and I'm good to go 8'D
Bought a couple of nice t'shirts from the men's section because the women's section doesn't have anything long enough for me. All the men were staring at me when I kept trying on the stuff in their section... probably because I picked out the best shirts and left them with none...? ^.+
Fffff and then we had two other dinners at people's places. They were boring, and I kept falling asleep. Eh I mean who can hold out till 11.30pm to eat dinner? I'd rather have starved than wait that long to eat. Yeah, and in the end, I didn't really eat much either. Totally skipped out on dessert on Thursday, and it looked kinda good too. Whatever.
My arm's killing me - it's hurting for no reason, and it feels like when my legs hurt before a major thunderstorm, so I'm wondering if this has something to do with 'change of weather' as well D| And I had another 5-hour class which I shortened to 3 hours because wtf my arm was killing me and I hadn't had enough sleep at all the past few days (that's not really a new thing though. is it?) so I just couldn't go on. I still have one more class to do and then I've got to finish typing up the Biology and Chemistry packets, and also some essays for my brothers. GUH IGCSE ENGLISH IS SO BORING.
UGH and then stupid driving instructor tells me I have a driving test tomorrow and that I've got to pull out 2 hours of my busy fuckin schedule to make time for fuckin practice, and I don't think anybody gives a shit about whether or not I have LOTS OF WORK TO DO before I leave to Sri Lanka the day after tomorrow. FU DAD (I am not going to complain to your face because you bought me shoes and offered to pay for my driving) but yeah, JEEZ! Totally killed my mood.
Which is why I'm listening to the Yoshida Brothers and Kitaro Matsuri. In the hopes that they'll lift my mood.
It's sort of working... :)
