"Am I wrong for liking the attention that i get while performing?"

I understand that everything you do in life is supposed to glorify God, that is the purpose behind our lives, why we were created. But let me ask you another question.

Every time I go on Stage it is for God, to hopefully expand His kingdom. When I go on stage and in practices I understand that I am being used as a vessel by God and that is the main thought that we follow, that we are being used by God to do His work. So is it wrong then that I enjoy being seen on stage performing? Or would it be if I thrived on that attention? To be seen as a holy person doing God's work and wanting recognition for it. And I put Glorifying God second to my glory.

I guess another question I might have to even ask myself is if I can like the attention I am recieving and still say my motive is for expanding the Lord's Kingdom.

Let me aim a question at you. If you did good on an exam, or performed well at game would you like other people to see how well you did? Would that be a sin? Bragging about it is an obvious sin and everyone constantly battles there pride. I'm just curious if you thought that would be prideful, I dont know how I feel about it yet.

I am sorry for going off on a tangent from the original topic but this is a good converstation. I always like to know what other believers think, and normally make myself look like an idiot in the process, but its good.

"but i believe that the goal of every christian who lives out their talents is that they do if for those of the 'secular' world." I do agree with that statement.

Thanks for replying to my last comment so fast. I hope that I'm not starting to bug you.
