So opening weekend went really well, the audiences were pretty healthy, and they seemed to understand the play (whew!)It wasn't so good for me on the socializing level, since I had work Saturday morning at 7:45 - and had gotten less than 4 hours of sleep thursday night... But it was worth missing out on whatever happened friday night, because thursday techie night, and the last diner run was classic.
I was still beat on Saturday night, and just talked with some people, and the gang in Intermission was fun. Today I had a migrane from hell, so I didn't really interact as much as I'd have liked, I missed out on the dancing around pre-show because of it, but it was fun just listening to everybody else bounce around.
I at least got some work done tonight, and got to eat with Sarah and Aaron... and I totally just realized that iTunes has radio stations.... and they have a Beatlemania radio station. A music convo in the green room had many of their songs stuck in my head. So I'm quite happy to have found it. There are also like, a dozen classical music stations in there, so - woot! dorkiness!
I still feel tired - noooo... I'm going to make sure I go to bed at a geekily early time. This week shall be long. I may or may not have figured out what I might sing for Charlie Brown auditions - mayhaps.
History's done, Spanish's more learn-ded, platform's finished, and I guess I'll start watching Schindler's List in a little while for the Holocaust Class. Life's in this not-so-exciting place right now, but operating on cruise control for a few days is probably the best idea.
T-minus 11 days till my first time on a plane, and off of North America... Crossing the big pond. :P
