sometimes its hard to know what's real when you're not...

i bought some new CD's.

Foo Fighters - The Colour and the Shape
HIM - And Love Said No (Greatest Hits 1997 - 2004)
Armor For Sleep - What To Do When You Are Dead
Hawthorne Heights - The Silence in Black and White

The Armor For Sleep album is just AMAZING. if you get a chance buy it!

while in JB buying the abovementioned CD's, Marcus and i had an amusing encounter with two teenage girls (they were probably about 15 or so). they saw a "Good Riddance" signs said "oh that must be Greenday, i love that song, Greenday are the best". so i did my ABSOLUTE best not to laugh at them (in case you aren't aware, Good Riddance is a band). then they were talking about how "hot" greenday are. then another one said "is there any My Chemical Romance here? they toured with Greenday so they must be good" again i was doing my best to hold my laughter in (don't get me wrong, i LOVE MCR but it was the way they were talking about them). then the other says "what about MXPX *insert name here* has a tattoo of them, they must be good then". at this point i couldn't hold it in anymore so i started to laugh. they look up at me with their eyeliner covered eyes and smiled. Marcus started laughing and said "let's go" to which i replied "yes please, i can't listen to this anymore". a part of me wanted to make fun of them and a part of me felt sorry for them. it's making me laugh just thinking about it. some kids just try too hard.

My "family member" is now out of prison on appeal and goes back to court in July. it's fucked up i tell you.

Went to Bert's birthday bash on the weekend. i felt WAY overdressed. the website makes it look classy but the people who go there are definately not. never mind, better to be overdressed than underdressed i say.

Had "sauce day" on Sunday. my body ached all over by the end of it, but it will all be worth it once i start eating all of that delicious salsa!

May have a block of land soon. have to speak to Tony a bit more about it. it's exciting now that it's all becoming a reality for us instead of just an idea. fingers crossed.
