I Wonder if Sean Bean votes Labour

I know that Patrick Stewart does... and so does Floella Benjamin. But why Sean? Well, about the only bits of my weekend that didn't involve delivering leaflets or knocking on strangers' doors seemed to involve him.

Yup, us political activists are mad... but maybe it explains part of why we get so het up over how people vote or when they slag off our opinions/party. When you invest that much time and effort into something, it's only natural that you take things a bit more personally.

In fact, I hadn't realised we were delivering on Friday night otherwise I wouldn't have gone to see Silent Hill instead. It's a good film, so long as you're not squeamish - although given one of my deepest fears is burning, I did find some of it hard going. Sean's accent though... never thought I'd hear American with a Sheffield twang!

elethiomel and ebq were then extremely kind (and tolerant) and walked me back to the tube whilst I learned a valuable lesson - when you've had an upset tummy the day before, eating a whole packet of toasted sesame nuts washed down with copious amounts of sugary drink is not a good idea
: (

Still, was good to see that the new Sharpe is staying true to the formula - cool costumes, pro-Imerialist(ish) and the potential for lots and lots of lovely fight scenes... and attractive women in corsets!
