Wow! What A Great Long Weekend!
Anime North was this past weekend and it was crazy. I really didn't like the convention at all. It was probably the worst convention I had ever attended. There were too many organization problems at events, over zealous security staff and a severe distance between events. It wasn't that friendly for conention attendees. User friendly that is. :P Many delays, a lot of waiting and generally many problems at this year's Anime North.
I will say that it was very good to be able to hang out with several circles of friends. That was the best part of the convention. I think for many veteran convention attendees that's the ultimate thing, aside from the masquerade. ;)
It was great to see Carolina from SMA who visited from NC. Of course Ed too! Good to see you again bro! Winnie & Anna, fantastic job with all of the costumes ladies! All of the SMA guys, really good to see you all again. Eric, Brian, Adrian (Have a safe and good trip for the next few months)! Andrew, very fun to hang with you during "Anime Name That Tune", which was one of my favorite events and I only had two. Of course it was awesome hanging out with you Ameer. It was very nice of you to introduce me to Audrey dude. She's a lovely girl. To tell you the truth you were one of my main hag out buddy's there. Specifically when we were always waiting for some event, one way or another.
Jay, it was really good hanging with you on Saturday bro. Thank you so much for the rides back and forth all the time! Thanks for the help with Spawn! Chris, it was really good to see you again dude. It seems like we only get to talk to each other at these events. Whenever you're in the area, just come down and hang out with us. Johnny it's always good to see you again. You're hardcore bro! I had so much fun spending time with you at Anime North. I know it wasn't as much as we wanted but we completely fixed that yesterday. I had the best time with you yesterday. From the moment I started spending time with you, I've always had a smile on my face. Thanks gorgeous.
