Oh There I Am...
Wow...it's been a little over a month since my last post. That kind of reflects how much has been going on with me as of late. Well, there have been a few key things I suppose I could talk about. For starters, my kittens are doing well. They've become used to me and are very affectionate; especially the girl, Yankumi. She likes to lick my face while I'm sleeping. Also, for all the Initial D fans out there, I'm sure you all know that the live action movie premiered in China on June 23rd. I was able to watch it via BitTorrent. It was sweet, even though it was untranslated. There is a subtitled version floating around, but it's dubbed in Mandarin. Anyways, starting today, I'll be on vacation here in San Diego until July 18th. I will be attending the San Diego International Comic Convention. I haven't been to one of these in a long time. It will be 4 days long, packed with vendors and celebrities. Some of the people I want to see include: Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, Army of Darkness), Natalie Portman (You all should know her movies), Charlize Theron (Monster, Devil's Advocate), Kate Beckinsale (Pearl Harbor, Underworld), Kevin Smith (Jay and Silent Bob. There will also be some cool events, like: a live performance of a Teen Titans episode by the voice actors themselves, DVD release parties for He-Man and a brand new American Robotech series. Aside from the comic convention, I'll also be attending the San Diego Symphonic Orchestra's performance of Final Fantasy's Dear Friends, and the Harry Potter book release party. Whew!!! So yeah, I'll do my best to update my journal as things progress.
