Wicked, the Musical

I now have business cards! Although, I am sure after a while I will be wanting to just get rid of them (since I have 1000 of them), but in the meantime it's a bit exciting. I've never had them before, not even in 2 years (almost) of working at Paragon did I get them, and a little after 2 months at GSN, I get them.

Work this week was pretty good too. The lady I was dealing with at Virgin went away for a couple of days and gave me the details of another lady there, who was supposed to have our testing numbers by Thursday. The thing is, I e-mailed her Thursday, Friday morning, rang Friday afternoon, and e-mailed again Friday evening. I have heard nothing from her. Someone else from Virgin called us, and asked for the terminating number so they can transfer calls from their IVR to the one I wrote, but I told them I can't give that to them (not only am I not sure what it is), because we need the test numbers first. We also have no PO (Purchase Order) yet, so, we can't process anything. With no PO, we're not going to go live. Oh well, hopefully we hear from them on Monday.

On Thursday I went and saw Wicked! It was fantastic. I really enjoyed it. I met up with Tim for dinner first, we went to TGIF, because we had a half price voucher there, so we got the most expensive thing on the menu, and then only paid half price (it ended up costing us about $20 each) which was great. We then made our way to the theatre. We were in the Dress Circle, which is a little higher, although it's good because you can see the entire stage, whereas in the stalls you can't always see everything. I knew some of the songs, because I've been to xChange a few times, and they put on the drag show for Wicked, which is always really good, but you'd be surprised at how you pick up all the songs, and then recognise them. Tim and I were joking about how we knew them and how much xChange were like it (although, they put their own spin on it of course). It finished around 11pm, and I was home around 12:30 or so. I was a bit tired on Friday, but oh well, it was worth it!

On Friday, after work we went out for a few drinks to celebrate holding the reigns of the office while the big bosses are away overseas. Although, the big boss paid for the night out! We asked first though, we just didn't go and use his credit card without him knowing. I was good, we had a few drinks, and a bite to eat, before heading home. At the station I ran into Rimas, who I hadn't seen in quite some time, but who lives very close to me. We took the same train home and chatted, and I offered him a lift home, as it was on the way. He ended up inviting me in, and his boyfriend came round, and we all talked and watched some TV for the next 5 or so hours. It was good to catch up with them again. Seeing as they both live so close, Rimas down the road, and his boyfriend Matt around the corner, we should do it more often.

On Saturday night, it was my friend Rachels 22nd birthday. She wanted to go to xChange, she feels safer there because she knows the guys aren't going to come and try to hit on her all night or anything. I brough my friend Rhett along as well, we got there before everyone else, so I was glad I was with someone, I don't like being at a club on my own, it doesn't feel right. It was a pretty good night, we stayed until they closed, which is between 3 and 3:30am. The night went so quickly. Rhett and I were talking most of the night, and danced a bit with the others that were there, and especially when they were playing some really good songs.

Today I mostly relaxed, sat outside in the sun and read a book and played some Wii Fit.
