Surreal.
Wow. I dont know quite what to say about last night. Overall, it was a good night... but so many bad things happened at the same time. The accident. Katy. Dara. Kelly&Jon - I'm watching the sunrise outside my window. The top half of the sky is growing lighter, while the storm clouds obscure the horizon... creating this bizarre awkward twilight. The ground below is blanketed in a dense layer of white morning ground fog, and smoke is billowing into the morning air from sources obscured by trees... Now the romanticist side of me is saying that this is some kind of omen, that the juxtaposition of whats expected and the near imperceptible irony are symbolic... in my mind the surrealism of this strange dawn fits in perfect parallelism to last night's strange qualities... but you know what they say - I'm crazy.
