Hermits Ahoy!
I love people. I do. I love each and every one of you; hanging out with you, hearing your stories, feeding you/eating your food. But every once in a while, a girl's gotta have some Alone Time. And I got it this weekend. GLORIOUS ALONE TIME.
CodeManC was off on a rock climbing adventure, so it was just me, the apartment, and whatever I wanted/needed to do. *loll* I did make a foray out on Saturday to go to Target and Hot Doug's (had The Mountain Man: elk, buffalo, venison, & antelope sausage with cassis butter and *mumble* cheese. NOMNOMNOM+++++ would NOMNOMNOM a 2nd/3rd time!), but mostly I just did housework, read, and did needful computery things.
Like sit on the phone with Tivo for an hour to find out that my comcast cable box is incompatible with the Tivo itself. BOOOOOO, Comcast! I hate you so much!
Last night, though, CodeManC was back from his adventure and we went to Glenn's for some tasty fishes. They're open on Mondays now, and you can have ANY FISH ON THE BOARD for $13.95. This is highly recommended, as they can run up to $21 on any other night. I had the barramundi with lemon-herb butter (oh WOW) and CMC had pan-fried catfish, which was just what he had been craving.
In apartment news, CMC has a lease! All he has to do now is pick up the keys! \o/
And to all my Canadian friends out there in eljay land: Happy Canada Day! You're TOTALLY an official country and stuff!
