Okay, so there are many best parts of these recaps, but today's best part? Every time you talk about Bonden, I think of Billeh, and then I get the giggles. And so I am cheered. Woo!

q_skud_ pushed me over here to read these recaps of M&C despite my not yet reading any of the books, and you just sent me into a fit of laughter that was luckily only heard by my invisible friend in the closet. The dialogue between Jack and the Admiral is utterly hilarious:D Thanks ever so much for the entertainment:)

Oh believe me, I want to read them,and I'm already quite familar with the jargon from Hornblower, I just have this little thing called a dissertation that's demanding my attention. Oh, and final exams, and a major presentation and... So yes, they will be read, but it's looking to be June or later at this point.

I shall keep reading your excedingly enjoyable recaps:)

I'm thinking of starting in on Hornblower myself, once I've finished this series. There's a used bookstore not far from where I live that has a whole section devoted to naval fiction. It's inSANE.
