FTW Summer
So everyone. What are you all doing for the summer?
Because I'm going to China. for four weeks.
My first few days will be spent in Beijing, where I'll see ancient temples, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and of course, the Great Wall of China.
Then it's off to the mountain resort town of Chengde, where I'll be staying with a host family, teaching English to Chinese schoolchildren, and seeing more ancient temples.
After that we head to the open grasslands of Mongolia. There, we shall ride horses and camels and have some fun sand skiing in the Gobi desert.
When we return to China, we live with another host family, this time in a rural farming village.
Finally, we'll do our last bit of traveling, hitting up Qufu, birthplace of Confucius, Jinan, and last but far from least, Shanghai.
Hells to the yes. This summer is going to rock.
