No, it is criticism, but it's legitimate, so don't apologize. I tried to do as much research as possible, but it clearly wasn't enough, and I appreciate you commenting to inform me. You cannot become a better writer without getting criticism.

I would only protest to your generalization, that Americans naturally don't know about 1991. I actually find that kind of offensive, since not all Americans are the same. It sounds like you think we're all ignorant, which, well, we're not.

In any case, could you tell me what I did wrong, more specifically? Because like I said, I did do research, and I would like to know where I'm lacking.

I'm sorry to keep this going, but don't you think that that is a little hypocritical? I mean, you commented to say that I hadn't portrayed the events properly - which is totally fair and I'm not saying you shouldn't have - but then you counter with saying that you think all Americans are the same

It's hard to understand for me where from you found such conclusions. I have to accept different cultures make different conclusions from similar words. I was too direct trying to explan why I made generalisation - please, sorry me for it. I didn't say me - personally - think bad about you - personally. Unfortunately my words sounded rude.
I understand what you wanted to say in fic only from your explanations. Unfortunately (again) I still can't find it in fic (( Homestly it looks rather offensive and unfair for Russians, the only reason I commented.

Haha, okay, yeah. My bad, too. I think I have a better idea of what you were trying to say now. Differences in languages suck.

In the future I will try to make a more balanced representation of the countries I am presenting. Thank you once more for your opinion.
