(no subject)
i am currently in philosophy class. why, you may ask, am i updating my livejournal during class? well, that my friends, is because i would seriously consider doing a large amount of harm to pretty much everyone who has presented today.
it began with the the girl who talked entirely too loud. had i been psychic i would have brought my earplugs. we are in an auditorium honey, it magnifies your voice, thanks to this handy things called acoustics. TALK QUIETER! i'm trying to sleep through your presentation!
the next presentation was over 20 minutes long, and redundant, and redundant. my god, you could probably get away with going a few minutes over the allotted time (maybe), but you should probably not more than double the ten minute assignment.
Third: If you're sick, write out the presentation and have someone else read it; Do not come to class and infect me. Better yet, email the teacher and arrange a time when you are healthy that you can give him the presentation.
Next: Ditzy girl. I loathe you. Not only have you obviously never heard of the "dress for success" policy, but at the very least you could take off the hood of your "adorable" fucking ugly hoodie. Plus, perhaps you and forever-boy should have commiserated, and maybe you could have come up with a presentation longer than 4 minutes. it wasn't hard, you had three sources you should have covered.
last: finally, you sound intelligent, are not too loud, and actually make sense when you relate your analysis of Hume's view on cause and effect to the class.
