When I see your face
I can't help but to smile
All my tears disappear
You give me peace for just a while
Until I remember the horror
The heartache and the pain
Life without you here
Will simply never be the same
Pictures framed so neatly
Precious memories held so dear
Those days of love and laughter
Those days before these tears
A million times I've missed you
A million times I've cried
These long and empty days
Leave me broken inside
Sometimes all hope is lost
In those dark hours of despair
I don’t understand the reasons
To me, it isn’t fair
But I trust God has a plan
Greater than we’ll ever know
He held you in His hand
Until the day He took you home

In His glory up above

Surrounded with His love

To come and join you there
