Interesting things
Okay so maybe the title is a bit biased, but feel free to read on.
Last night I drove up to Jasper to stay with Lauren. Her Mom is a bit under the weather and it seemed like a good idea to help out up there as best I could. Plus, I really wanted to see Lauren. Lauren has been watching the kids for a few days and doing all of there home-school lessons. It was great to spend some time with her. I made dinner for the family and everyone seemed appreciative. For those of you who don't know, Lauren's parents are not thrilled that we date. In fact "not thrilled" is a bit of an understatement. It is strange that the first time I really needed some ones parents to like me is the first time that they haven't.
I'm over at my parent's now for the evening and I'm getting ready for a good long eight hour nap. Earlier we watched disturbia. I think it is a pretty good movie; I had seen it before tonight. Tomorrow I'm taking my parents to see my new place and my dad is going to help me install some things. I would do it myself but I have a slight lack of power tools. I'm putting up my hammock and a bunch of organizational stuff for my pans and food. I know my mother is going to blather about what kind of neighborhood it is and let me know that she is worried about me. I suppose that is just what mothers are for.
I saw some exciting and not so exciting things these last few days.
Among the not so exciting was this:
Sometimes we just need to let things die. But I will still probably go see this.
Among the more exciting was this:
I am definitely going to go see this.
Also among exciting things is the new Rilo Kiley album, Under the Blacklight. I think it is pretty shnazy and you all should check it out.
Anyway, I'm off to bed folks. I hope everyone is well and I would love to see you all sometime in the near future. ~Jason
