News Flash - Brown is the new Black
Time for my monthly entry.
I had a great time going with Hannah to her parent's. They live in this little town and shit and it was nice. A little too peaceful for my liking but they had a great view of mountains so in the future I don't think I'd be opposed to having a nice little house somewhere peaceful. Her parents are preety chill, they are a little uptight, but all in all kind of cool. We just hanged out at her father's hardware store, helped out, went to a family reunion and even went to church. A catholic church. Kind of a change for me (being all eastern orthodox) but it was kind of cool. The priest talked about how no one when he was younger believed he'd ever make it through the priesthood cause he'd been such a trouble maker. Not a huge difference between our two churches, but it was still a nice experience. I like visiting other "churches", for instance I'd love to go to a Buddhist one sometime. I've only seen glimpses in movies but the sound of chanting was very peacefull.
I'm really enjoying my semester. My favorite class is International Literature, I love my teacher, we share a common love of Margaret Atwood. She seems to like my writing too cause I keep getting A's so woohoo for me. That'll teach all those bastards in highschool that called me a nerd cause I liked books ... haha .... screw you ... who's laughing noooow. Sorry talking to myself again ... a hazard of living alone ...
On a particularly exciting note, I'm gonna be taking care of two little kitties. It's a long story that I don't really want to go into but the bottom line is I'm gonna be taking care of them till we can find them a good home. I'm sucker for animals, it's my little weakness, unlike people I take no pleasure in seeing them suffer. Thrusday Hannah and Allyson are dropping by with the kitties. We are all gonna have some food, play with the cats and smoke up a little. I think we might be going out to a bar too ... I'm not a huge party person but everyone is telling me I need to get out more so I've given in. In the end I'm just happy about getting some roomates ... I've had a couple of freaky incidents lately and I'd like to know if someone brakes into my apparment, rapes and kills me, I won't die alone ... the cats will be there. In Egyptian mythology cats are very important .... aren't they the guardians of the underworld? I'm not sure ... I need to ask Megan she knows way more about it ...
I've dropped my resume at a few places so hopefully I'll have a part time job soon. I've discovered the wonders of Ebay .. heh ... you heard me! I've just finished ordering a poster that I'll hopefully get it soon. Oh I think in a month or so me and my folks will be going to Washington for a couple of days ... just a little trip ... I doubt it will fall through but I think it'd be cool if it did. I'm gonna go try and give myself a sugar heart attack ... later
