Back to school...

Well, I'm back at it, trying to settle into some kind of routine YET AGAIN. I don't think my life will ever be what one could call "settled." It is going to be one crazy semester. We'll see how it goes, but I'm already thinking I'm gonna have to drop a course in January. Right now I have three literature and/or critical/cultural theory courses ( ( Read more... )

reading that has made me feel like i'm in school. i'm glad you like your courses so much. that'll make studying for them much easier.

a thought: try reading while on a reclining cycling machine. i used to do a lot of me readings that way - the whir of the machine kept me focused, and it was a great work out for my legs as i read. not the worst idea in the world, if you need to do both but have minimal time.

I have thought about doing readings on the bike, though we don't have a reclining bike here, just a standard one. I usually hit the treadmill but I might switch it up now and again. But also, do I really want to be doing schoolwork during my de-stress time? Hmm.

it makes doing your hw less stressful. and it makes the workout time fly by (you forget to make yourself workout longer). i fully recommend doing it. but you don't have to, of course.

let me know if you come across any good english lit books this year.
