It's 1970.
The Muggle world is in the grip of flares, dodgy sideburns and disco music. The wizarding world is a whirlwind of celebration, renewed hope and celebrity Quidditch matches after averting a war that could have destroyed it forever.
George Carter is 19, a working-class Muggle and fresh out of police training. A woodentop with street smarts and a terribly lenient view when it comes to "them irons", he is destined for a bright future in the Met and a cosy marriage to school-teacher Alison (if only he can get her to notice him).
Until he meets Charlie Weasley.
Charlie Weasley is 25, a working-class wizard with a talent for Quidditch that is in high demand. A Seeker for the Falcons and the darling of the media and the general public, he looks destined for a place on the England squad at the next Quidditch World Cup and the marriage of his dreams with his pick of the ladies (if only they can get him to notice them).
Until he meets George Carter.
Terry McCann is 27, a bloke from hard-working stock strictly opposed to an average 9-5 job. Working for petty crook Arthur Daley, life is never dull, but freedom, beer and a string of women on tap is all he needs from life. Even with the occasional spell in the nick, he thinks that his life is just about breaking even.
Until he meets Molly Graham.
Molly Graham is 24, a witch from a well-to-do family with the talent to go far in the world of wizarding cosmetics, but a firm hatred for her father's way of running her life. Living in the Muggle world and working as a PA for a business-woman who treats her well, Molly figures that she has almost everything worked out.
Until she meets Terry McCann.
When two worlds collide, the end result is something no one could have predicted.
