AHHHHHHH!!!!!! FLOGGING MOLLY!!!!
That was an absolutely amazing concert. Although i didn't meet the band or nething(like rach) I had an amazing time. I got there about halfway through the Briggs' set. The briggs were awesome. unfortunately, by the end of the set my stomach was a bit upset so i had to sit out a bit of the Street Dog's set, but thats ok cuz i didn't really like the street dogs. They weren't bad, but... Anyways, then Flogging molly came on and i got my fair share of moshing in. The mosh pit was pretty rough but i met some cool people. There was a guy named Al who was awesome. I was in the pit for the entire set except one song i sat out in the beginning cuz some 250 lb. guy fell on my foot and i sprained my ankle. one song was recovery enough though. MY pants also ripped straight up the back so i had to roll them up. and i got punched in the cheek. and part of my toenail came up cuz so many people stepped on it. You might think this a bad thing, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It was such a release. I got to know the bartender too. He was a cool guy. And since i bought a shirt for myself and a shirt for George before the flogging molly set to avoid the rush I was wearing 3 shirts and was sweating my ass off. IT WAS AMAZING!!! I needed that so badly, just to get out some of the angst. I would have hated just standing on the side or something. The mosh pit was awesome. and the majority of the people were really nice. There were a couple assholes (as always) who were trying to hurt people, but ya know.
Besides the concert, at which i spent nearly all the money i own, i finally got in touch with danny osher about starting a ska band. That'd be awesome. I've always wanted to play ska. probably just a part time thing ya know. GOOD STUFF!.
