So, I love interior design. I don't know where I got it from, but I think it spawned from having an all white bedroom growing up with nothing in that reflected me. Everything that I had was hand me downs (nothing wrong with those) that were from everyone else's personalities. When I got old enough to decide for myself I think I just went crazy XD. I apologize for the poor quality of my picture. I broke my digi camera so I had to use my cell phone and the images are rather large.

The view when you enter my bedroom door. The huge Malcolm X picture was given to be by a friend of the family who had no where to put it.
My bed is an Ikea futon that is supposed to go on the floor, but I had to put it on cement bricks because the wood beneath it started to warp. Beside the bed is a DVD/VHS rack.
The other side of the bed. I'm getting rid of the reading lamp for one that suits my room, when I can find one.

Another view from the door, including my dresser. I painted all the wooden furniture black.
Frontal view of the dresser. The Image in the frame was a puzzle that my grandmother gave me. I finished it, glued it, and framed it as art work.
My closet, how it is usually positioned. I'm going to repaint the inside white with the far walls red like the wall that my bed is against.

I use my shelf as a desk. It was one of those cheap book shelves from Target that you build yourself, I just painted it black. My mom took the other half. I keep my art work on the side where the purple bag is.
So I hope you like my room. I have one more to show you (The room at my grandfathers). I'm always working on my rooms so I'll update after big changes. Suggestions are welcome :)
