(no subject)
Okay, so I wasn't going to blog today, but I needed to. I met a new interest. And he is sooooo cute. He has this great smile and nice eyes. He's got a great voice. He's literate. He's athletic. He plays hockey. He plays chess. So, I met him when I was baking pies. His team had been playing at the civic arena and when I took my lunch in my flour encrusted apron, they were teasing me. So I chatted with them for a bit, but nothing really came of it. Then yesterday I was up playing shuffle board with the seniors and then cooked for them and he was outside when I got off of work. I told him I thought that his team said they rarely played up here and he made some kind of comment about coming more often in hopes of seeing me. Well, he could have just been flattering but I don't care.
We went out for coffee. Played a fun game of chess there. Then went and parked in Masonic Heights and chatted for a bit. And he's a good kisser, too. Can't beat that. He's great. He's a sub teacher for music and plays the bass. He's also on a hockey league. We're going out again next Tuesday and I can't wait! Crash called in the middle and I neatly hit the end button and turned my phone off. I waited another hour before even checking my voicemail. Raaaa! I really like this guy.
And while no one can hold a candle to how Crash makes me feel, maybe it's time I just let it go and tell him I want to go back to being just friends. I'm not in it to get hurt. So, we'll see. I still have his son to win over. It's not that I want to stop seeing him; he just doesn't seem to have any urge to make it a steady thing between us. Oh, well.
