Hey, so I got a radio show at KSUB. Check it out at 8-10pm every tuesday @www.ksubseattle.org. I should be starting in a couple of weeks. Any good ideas for show names?

they liked me alot. it was the best time slot left specially since they will play my show in the hawk's nest bistro, so hopefully alot of people will be listening in.

that's so cool! what sort of stuff are you going to play - do they make you play more than one distinct genre, like at kalx?

ksub is really low-key, prolly cause we don't have that many listeners. there aren't many requirements except i have to play a certain number of local bands and rotation discs. Im prolly going to be playing alot of post punk and early indie rock if i can get away with it. so does like beat happening and sleater-kinney count as local? olympia isnt that far away. haha.

man radio here sucks i'm really jealous. it wins a bunch of awards and stuff but only because they force everyone to play completely non mainstream bands and never play the same band more than once in a quarter. so basically people just play random things they've never heard of. the only way you can do wahtever you want is to get a free form show at like 3 am it sucks

you should still totally do it. i wouldnt rather listen to anyone else.
