My username is doodleallday because Stan Bracey has called me Molly Wolly Doodleallday since I was a little girl. Idk, it stuck. Wow, I'm dense. My username to almost everything BUT LJ is doodleallday.
My username is insertpunhere because I couldn't think of anything more creative when I was trying to create a "new" identity after I was dumped from a five-year relationship back in June 2005. It just felt time for a change and I no longer wished to associate with the old journal, as it contained so much of our relationship, considering the journal had been going for four of those five years.

My name is Molly because my mother says she wanted something unique from all the Jennifers and Jessicas of the mid-1980s. That, and a Cabbage Patch doll my dad's mom had given her, with red hair, was named Molly Elizabeth. Guess what my middle name is.

My journal is titled "Art is..." and subtitled "the antidote that can call us back from the edge of numbness..." because it is the first half of a quote that I really, really like by Barbara Kingsolver.

My friends page is called "...restoring the ability to feel for another" because that's the second half of the abovementioned quote. So, combined, it reads: Art is the antidote that can call us back from the edge of numbness, restoring the ability to feel for another.

My default userpic is a silly photo of me because I figured it makes the most sense to have a photo of myself as my primary userpic, though I almost never use it in posts. At least, that way, people can be like, "Well, I don't have to wonder what she looks like now!"
