A Taste of College Life
I tried to update right when I got back from PSU, but there simply was no time. Penn State was fun. Dan and Heather are there for the summer session so I was able to chill with them on Thursday. Dan's roommate is also accepted to the College of Engineering, so I may be seeing more of him. We watched the Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. I've heard sooooo much hype about this show, but never was able to take advantage of an opportunity to view it. Tim, Dan's roommate, assured us that the Americanized version is no where near as good as the original. I have to admit that the things they dub over those Crazy Asian's voices are incredibly insane, hilarious, and ridiculous all at the same time. I like the word ridiculous, I think I am going to use that a lot more often.
FTCAP was okay. There were a whole lot of preppy frat boy looking types there. I was kind of disappointed at the lack of diversity. I wasn't surprised that there wasn't too much racial variance, but it seems as though the rest of the kids are just clones of each other. I have to remember that I was only surrounded by a select few of my future classmates and that there are about 6,000 more freshmen to see. I'm going to miss our posse though. At least I still have the Danbird... the only one to stand by my side. He has a picture of Craig, Steve, Cory, Myself and him up on his bulletin board. Its kinda cute, and he promised that Steuben should be giving me my very own copy. So what else happened you ask? Made a preliminary schedule, got an ID, an email account, talked to advisers, but no one wants to hear about that.
As for tonight, I went to see Spiderman 2 and it was amazing. So many twists and turns and the ending (at least some aspects) didn't surprise me in the least. Now I am hoping that a certain someone might chance to come online... but that would just be too fulfilling to go right.
