TWOP and EB
Ladies and Gentlemen. In a stroke of angst induced, TWOP inspired genius(am I the only one who gets their best ideas when they feel like crap?) EsotericBastard.com will be presenting the first actual originator(that's me) created project. I'm going to be recapping. Yes, patrons of the tube, I will be recapping. This is not some individual grudge or contest with Television Without Pity. I love that site. But they're not covering two of my favorite newer shows. So Esoteric Bastard will be presenting:
Criminal Minds
Grey's Anatomy
I'll admit it. I watch a lot of TV I shouldn't. But I actually like these shows, and I'm hoping recaps will get people interested in them more.
Esoteric Bastard is also OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS for shows. I will take two and recap them to the best of my ability for at least a season! UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1. Television Without Pity (www.televisionwithoutpity.com ...if you haven't been there, go now.) must not already be recapping them.
2. They have to still be running new episodes.
3. I have to be able to have access to the full season. This includes that first episode that has probably already aired this season.
4. If it is a long running show, you must thoroughly debrief me on the characters.
I will also be taking ONE co-recapper on, in the interest of varying writing. This recapper will have their own section, in which they can recap anything they like providing that Television Without Pity does not recap it already. I really like what that site does, and the way it works, and I don't want to step on toes if this evolves into something as good as it could.
I will be taking writing samples if I don't know your writing already. Looking for interesting here, people, not cut and dry. This is also non-profit, so be prepared to recap at least an episode a week for NO PAY.
