Man life is crazy. I've been getting all nostalgic latley. I watch criminal mischeif last night was was sooo psyched. Like for real, I fucking love that video. Especially the Van Homan part. Most of that shit is still epic today, and I realized that when muttering "holy shit" and hitting the rewind button multiple times despite the fact that I knew every trick in that section by heart. That video is so well produced and edited that no BMX movie has ever come close to it in that respect to this day.
Anyways it got me to thinking how much different not only my life is since that video came out, but how different the world is in general. Everything really seemed so much more simple then. I'm not sure if it was the whole being young thing and not having to worry about a job, money, school, etc, or just the fact that the world is crazy today in general. I think it might be a combination.
Back then I remember being concerned with one thing...riding. I believe skaters island was open back then...possibly even impact. Was at foxboro all the time. Ok maybe not a ton has changed. But it has. Sometimes in life its hard to realized that time has even passed by. Going back to that time made me realize some things.
And then I saw Christine today at the advising offices and once again brought me back to the good ol days. And now Shannon just added me on facebook...wow I must have to much written about her near the beginning of this thing lost in the archives. Man I liked her so much I still wished it had worked out lol.
It reminded me that that was 4 whole years ago. Holy shit if I was on time I would be graduating now and going into the real world. Wow I'm getting old...to the point that I probably need to figure out what I'm gonna do with my life. Why the hell am I still living with my parents.
Wow, I'm basically in the same position I was 4 years ago, but with experiences under my belt. Thats crazy. Just goes to show what a couple blasts from the past can do. I went from getting nostalgic about the good old time to going holy shit I think I need to get my shit together.
And to end this on a completely random and different note...I like weed...a lot hahahaha.
