So, I had an appointment with my orthodontist yesterday and it went really well. I'm (finally!!) being moved on, which is great, because I just want to get this over with. It's taking so long. I had some photos taken, an x-ray and some moulds done, and didn't manage to die in the process, so all is well. (And if you think I'm being melodramatic, I'm not. It's awful. Having a load of gooey plastic shoved in (and right to the back of) you mouth, which makes you gag like hell. Plus, it's hard to breathe.) She's got to take them off to her boss, so he can OK the next part of my treatment (because that's how we roll here...) and hopefully this time next month I should be getting ready to get them fitted. Or arranging to have teeth out, should that be the case, and I sincerely hope it isn't because then it'll take even longer and it looks as if I'll be wearing them into my second year of college without at the shortest.

Today was a good day, apart from when Danny and Charlotte kept trying to persuade me to audition for the musical. Yeah, I can act, but I can't sing at all, so what's the point?
Finally found a decent sociological explanation of why girls would be more bothered by a lesbian teacher rather than a gay one, thanks to Mrs Slone who we had to call in to help us as Mr Marsh, Jasmin and I couldn't think of a single decent explanation between us (I stayed into lunch, because I needed help.) So, I can carry on with my coursework. I've got four and a half weeks to finish all of it, but I'm feeling more optimistic now, for some reason :)
Also, Mr Marsh showed me a postcard type thing with the words "I was born to lead the Revolution, not teach" (or similar) on above a picture of who I thought to be Oscar Wilde, and then we had a jokey conversation about starting a revolution outside school next Friday. But, does anyone know where it might've come from? I'm interested.
