CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM AND OOC CRAP: NEVER EVER EVER be afraid to give me constructive criticism. Ever. Ever. Be harsh! Be cruel! Pull out that whip--I LIKE IT THAT WAY. This post is here for that very explicit purpose! I used to be really good about commenting at cfud_concrit but, uh, my dramatis personae's gotten kinda on the large side and it became a hassle to start pulling links together. I figure I'll get organized real soon, but until then...yeah. Seriously. I need people to hit me up when they have concerns with the way I play and I can comprehend when people point out to me I've done something wrong.
That said, I'm actually very careless about some things--a lot of the time I almost never disable anyone. I don't draw a lot of lines for myself, either. So. If you need me to justify why something happened the way it did, then the explanation will turn out a whole lot more complicated than the event itself. Just saying. I don't make excuses; I wouldn't try to justify something if I didn't feel that, on some level, it was perfectly IC.
BASIC CONTACT INFORMATION: Probably the most readily available means with which to contact me--my e-mail at red.on.red@gmail.com, which I always check and I always answer and am usually good and consistent about. Usually. I also frequent IRC under any of my characters' names--usually Kid but also sometimes Rukia or Watanuki or Ikkaku. My screen name on AIM is "vega of the year". Go nuts.
TIME ZONES AND OTHER SUCH TIME-RELATED CRAP: EST, baby! During weekdays I'm usually online past five or six PM EST and then I'm on for a couple of hours. I work two jobs one of which I don't really get paid for, and I have class, and, well. This is the part where you say, "YOU DOUCHE, IF YOU CAN'T MANAGE YOUR TIME PROPERLY THEN WHY DO YOU HAVE FOUR CHARACTERS?"
Which is the part where I say, "SHUT UP ):"
During weekends my time slots widen a little but only a little. Usually if I skip out on work or class or whatever then I might be able to smuggle my way online. The best way to affirm my livelihood is to see whether or not I'm on IRC because if I'm on IRC or AIM then I'm most likely completely game for mucking around. So, uh, if you need me or want to plan anything, I'm sure you all know where to find me by now, right.
CLIQUES AND DROPPING THREADS--OR, "SO hydr0phobia ABANDONED MY LUNCH TABLE": YEAH, WELL.
I...tend to throw characters into a post completely at random--as it suits me, as in with whichever account I'm logged in on at the time, or if I feel like I've been neglecting someone too much, then I'll throw them into a post to bump up their activity. I'm perfectly okay with hitting up or being hit up by random people because, hey, the K-team needs to get out more! Uh, if a post is busy then it's actually a little more unlikely than not I'll throw a character in for the want of interacting with the poster, because it's difficult to manage interaction at that point, so if I throw someone into a post I tend to hijack other people's comments and things. FOR THE LOVE OF SPAM...! I'm usually kind of okay about keeping up with threads, too, because Gmail is a thing of wonder and beauty!
As for other things. Let's go with this: PLEASE FEEL FREE TO HIT ME UP AT ANY TIME. BECAUSE I WILL HIT YOU UP AT ANY TIME. If you want to continue a thread that is a week old then FUCK YES, I'M GAME. If I neglected you then feel free to beat on me with a brick or casually nudge me or what the hell ever because yes I do want to play with you and I can kind of maybe guarantee we will have some rockin' times if we keep our lines open--which segues into--
COMFORT ZONE--OR, "SO hydr0phobia WON'T GTFO YOUR GRILL": If I fuck up, tell me. And do your very best not to be afraid, as I am unassuming, meek, and unintimidating OOCly. JUST SAY NO. RAPE IS A CRIME. STOP, DROP, ROLL. ETCETERA. If OOCly or ICly I get something wrong, if I push a button--yeah, yeah, no one ever actually listens to that FEAR NOTHING FROM ME crap because we're all very considerate people and I love us for it, but, really. When in doubt. Just. Say. No. Speaking is communication and I guarantee you and I will have this fantastically rockin' time if we keep that in mind.
