New Tactics

There's a LOT of confusion with calorie deficits, BMR, and other weight-loss info.

Here I was 'plateauing' for the last 2 years after losing 43.6 pounds and I didn't understand why my weight wasn't going anywhere. It wasn't going down like I wanted and strangely, no matter what I ate--it didn't go up much either.

I was apparently eating at my 'maintenance' calories needed to function and maintain my weight. I had no calorie deficit.

I've been more concerned about losing fat and building muscle, so I've switched to this Venus Index or Venus Factor I've heard about.

I'm in my first week and so far so good.

I'm learning the deficit needed and some good weight training workouts. I feel decent and I'll be adding my running back into my routine next week.

I'm learning to appreciate my food again. To take my time and actually plan, instead of just shoving food into my piehole.

It's great.

Now? this is a 12-week program. I'm scared to death I'll fall of this lil wagon. I CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN.

If this program works as it's trainers claim? I'll be able to get myself lean and fit, like I wanted. To a place where I NEVER thought my body could go--even when I was skinnier....

Please help encourage me... this will be hard; anything worth doing generally is....
