Walking Onward....
sooo? I finally got fed up n walked out 2 weeks ago. I've never done that before in my life... I feel like a 'tard... but I would have had to find a new job soon anyway because of school... I'm on the verge of a new job out n the area near my folks & school, so it will be a lot of help once I get full-time on school again :)
Mara celebrated her 5th birthday with family today. I cannot. believe. she's 5. and then I sat and thought about it... I am going to be 30 in November. and that? was the point where I went in the bathroom and sort of had a good cry...
the other day someone told me that 30 is the new 20... if that is the case? it makes a lot of sense where Chris and I are concerned... we bounce around like college kids... but we're so close to getting our shit together... :) When we're more secure, then we're going to try n give Mara that sibling she's been begging for. :P (she wants a brother... she begs a LOT!)
Chris is starting up more stuff at WSU with the Theatre Department. He'll be Music Director of their production of Ragtime. We haven't yet determined whether I'll be playing violin or viola, but we'll know soon enough. I'll be putting some serious effort into that. And then, I am calling about two jobs tomorrow. One is for book repair... the other is in a kitchen... if I could do both? I would love it a lot... :) we'll see :)
messing around with knives for work... messing around with books... eating out a lot and researching what other people are doing... reading about EVERYTHING, like I usually do... and I've been feeling pretty optimistic about things with the usual lows, but I'm getting there...
I'll be fine as long as I have my two gifts by my side :)
remind me? to post birthday pics and stuff when I get the camera up. :)
also? Mara got a kids Digital Camera from us for her birthday! so expect some fun from that, too :)
