So my Europe trip this may is shaping up. The tentative plan so far is...
April 28 ~ Paris, France.
May 5 or 6 ~ Amalfi Coast, Italy.
May 12 ~ Return to Paris. At this point, my parents will go back to Toronto, and my brother and I will take a train to Vienna, Austria.
May 16 ~ Train to Berlin, Germany.
May 21 ~ Train to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
May 26 ~ Return to Paris.
May 27 ~ Go home to Toronto.
I'm excited as hell...We're going to be booking hostels soon, and I've found some pretty sweet ones, especially in Berlin and Amsterdam. Also, we're looking for concerts playing in all those cities while we're there. So we may or may not be seeing some cool shows. So far there's the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in Amsterdam on the 23rd...or Broken Social Scene in Paris on the 23rd (it's a few hours away by train). There is going to be a cultural festival run by the students of University of Amsterdam while we're there, so that also sounds great. Although those cities will be our home bases, we will likely be travelling around to other cities/towns by train during the day while we're there. I've been spending my days at work doing research and planning for this vacation extraordinaire. AHHH YAY.
