so today I went to see The Aristocrats, which was hilarious as expected. However during the previews, I saw what I might have been the stupidest ad ever. It was an ad for H&M's new line of "soulful" jeans, and it was basically a 4 minute music video, with Mary J. Blige and Tamyra Gray. It was directed by David Lachappelle. It was called "Romeo & Juliet" and it was basically some love story between Tamyra and some dude, and then the dude gets shot, and all this time Mary J Blige is singing and going nuts like she always does, and then Tamyra takes over for the second half. So after a minute of Tamyra kneeling next to his dead body in the middle of the street in what I presume to be a New York neighborhood, she eventually decides that she cannot live without this dead guy, and she kills herself. GET IT??---IT'S LIKE ROMEO AND JULIET!!!! It was fucking retarded. Honestly I dont even remember what happened in the first half of this "music video" that lead up to the two deaths, cause well, I was way too high to remember. All I can tell you was that it was the most ridiculous shit ever. I think I might have said "what is this shit?" about 20 times while it was going on.
