My cousin Sharon is a big Harley Davidson enthusiast, she loves to ride. She is also a Jeff Gordon fan she bought one of the new 2004 Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo's. She has asked me if I wanted to go to Bike Week in Daytona Beach, FL. Now, what would you say? So did I. Strong, Handsome, Dominant, Leatherclad men on Harley Davidson's. You betcha!!
Hot Damn I'm going to Florida, I should be ecstatic!!!! But I'm not.
My cousin is someone who always wants to be right.. She can be pretty annoying about it sometimes. She can brave in a rude way. Like this one time at a Trace Atkin's concert, as he walked by, she reached out and grabbed his hand and wouldn't let go of it as he continued to walk. Not so much embarrassing, but a little. She works at a Maximum security correctional center here in IL. So she can probably back her ass. But I can't help but worry she may say something to get us into a fight down there.
Me, I'm pretty open minded and will accept someone's opinion or their right to believe they are right. So long as they allow me to speak my mind as well, and don't force their belief upon me. I'm not political yet, and I never was one to debate much of anything until I came into this lifestyle, where I finally learned to voice my opinions. I've also learned to simply keep my mouth shut unless I feel it is a good time to say something. I was given two ears and one mouth, so that I can listen more than I speak. Could be why I enjoy writing so much. I have a lot to say and a lot in this little head of mine, I can write to my hearts content, if the reader wants to read it they will.
She has let me know I will not be back in time to go to the Indiana Midwest Alt.com reunion this year unless I take a bus back because she isn't going to be leaving till the Tenth. To bad I can't back out now. I would never hear the end of it. She's on a man hunt I tell ya. So I'm going to make her up some sexy business cards for her to hand out. Maybe she will get lucky. I hope she gets laid, the woman is frigid I tell ya.
She asked me to look up and print out the events for Bike week, so I've spend the better part of two days doing that, along with searching for camp grounds, nearest the beach so we can lay out and get some sun. I'm not entirely sure she is going to want to stay at some camp ground she is pretty high maintenance.
I've printed up a couple map's too of the area and the bar's locations, places where there will be food and things to do. We're all about free food and entertainment!! Were not to proud for free room and board either.
This one time when I turned 18 and had just got my license, (mind you, I drove since 15) she asked me if I wanted to drive to NM so she could see an old flame that rekindled. I said yes of course, I loved it when we lived there. I had been in a head on collision with a Drunk Driver the weekend before and still had glass shard in my eyes, so I couldn't read sign's from a far, So I told her, Tell me how many mile's about we will be on this high way, and when we get close to the next place we have to switch highway's, I'll wake you up and you watch the sign's. It worked out great!! We slept on picnic tables at rest area's, both of us on the same table, at opposite ends when we got to tired. Thank God the world was a safer place to live back then. Sure can't do that sorta thing now. Can't even leave your car unlocked at a rest area these days.
I got a lap top from national rent center last night.. When I heard the cost I about shit. but when I started looking on ebay. I'm only paying about a quarter of what it's worth more over the cost of the machine. It's an Acer Travel mate with a 40G hard drive. It also has a built in wireless card so that I can sit anywhere in the house and use it without being in once place. Trouble is, the connection is pretty slow... I'm seeing that I have a full signal, but it's still loading very slow, like a dial up connection. I'm doing something wrong or have set it up wrong. So I just plugged in a cord for it from the dsl box and it runs lots faster now.
I'm sick as heck. I went shopping around with my Mom at some Goodwill stores and I forgot to wash my hands before I left. I haven't been sick in years thanks to taking some vitamin's a couple years ago. I use to suffer with chronic bronchitis, Asthma, and colds all the time, and was on steroids a few times as well. (Damn I loved them pills). but since taking them vitamin's I haven't had but one small cold, which didn't go to my chest, and one small sinus cold. Both ended quickly. I hope this one will pass quickly too. I worry still every time I catch a cold, because of how sick I would get. My Mom ended up with a stomach virus. She drank some pickle juice and felt better in minutes. Ps, she warns, don't eat chocolate when you have a stomach virus.
Well, I'm sure I rambled here long enough. American Idol should be on pretty soon I think. I'm still waiting for my books to come so I can start on my first semester series. I've also got to move my desk in this office of mine. It has bad Fen chi.
Anyone going to Bike Week drop me an email. Anyone want to share their home with me and my cousin, let me know too.. I promise to keep her under control. OK now where the heck is that spell check button??? What!!! There isn't one, man am I screwed.
