It's one of those 5 days out of the year in Seattle that the city melts from heat. No one I know owns air conditioning. It never made it below 84 in my apartment.
It's been so oppressively hot that I couldn't sleep. Thanks to the lack of sleep, I finished watching the rest of Season 2 of Sex and the City. I never caught the show when it originally aired. So, when it's late at night or when Jason isn't home, I watch it. When that was over, I watched Definitely, Maybe. It was a cute love story. Consider it a truncated movie version of How I Met Your Mother without Marshall & Lily.
Now, I'm pondering purchasing tickets for some matinees starting at 11:00. I still have to pass that one by Jason. But the air conditioning will be well worth it. Maybe I'll even get some sleep in the theater!
