The weekend was long and good. I stayed the night in Olympia on Thursday with Jessy. She has a cat so I ended up taking benadryl. I love warning people that I'm allergic to benadryl and them not exactly believing my type of allergic reaction. It makes me act like I'm drunk. I recall having a conversation with her cat, sitting on the couch and eventually passing out mid sentence.

Portland's Friday night game had some interesting consequences that I was not expecting. But, it will be fun to see how the disbanding of the Republic goes.

The new chronicle needs to begin soon. Of course, I also need to finish writing my character's history so that I can get all of the approvals I would like.

Saturday I spent some time in downtown Vancouver wandering around. I had a great cup of coffee at River Maiden. The woman behind the counter asked me about my necklace and even correctly identified it as topaz. I really need to update my etsy account with some of my newer jewelry designs.

I also saw a family with a cute little pug. When the pug got a little bit closer I realized that he was mixed with something else. It was a Pekingese Pug! He was so adorable. By cross breeding him he got a little bit longer of a snout which helps to eliminate the breathing problems. Very cute little dog.

Later Jason showed up and we went to the Vancouver game. It was hard to get into character at the Guardian Games site. I spent most of the night goobing and explaining various situations to a new player. Again, this is another reason the reset needs to happen soon. No one is motivated to play the characters they're retiring.

This morning I spent some time talking with my secondary coterie group. It was fun to toss ideas around with everyone. The long drive was home, but Jason was kind enough to drive the second half of the trip so I napped.
