Grab Bag Thursday!
I'm not focused enough to create a cognitive post using segues and detailed explanations, so here are a few odds and ends lying around in my head. (Labeled for clarity.)
End: I've got a plastic grocery bag full of Halloween candy in my desk. This is the culmination of last weekend, when Jess, her brother Tommy and I went trick or treating (I was the Phantom of the Opera.)
Odd: The Friday preceding that, Jess and I went to a party organized by one of the girls in AQUA (the Allies and Queers Undergraduate Association.) Jess somehow found what was probably the only heterosexual male there, while I just enjoyed all the eye candy. Hot damn.
Odd: On Saturday, I was shacked up in Jess' parents' house, and got to hang out with her, Tommy, and Jonny, Jess' bestest gay friend. Also present were four dogs and approximately three cats. That night we held a ritual celebrating Samhain, a.k.a. Summer's End, a.k.a. the pagan new year. Ancestors were called, assorted divinities were invoked, protectors were created. It was very interesting, I had never seen a pagan ritual before.
End: I just had to borrow twelve dollars from Mike because I ordered wings and then realized I had no cash. Sorry, Mike!
Odd: I picked up one of those Glade plug-in air fresheners at the Co-Op, because the dorm room is funky. I also got some Blackjack chewing gum, which I haven't had in years. Those of you who know what I'm talking about- rock on.
End: I registered for Spring classes today. I have two classes Monday, one on Wednesday, and none on Friday. The price I had to pay? Naturally, Tuesdays and Thursdays are Hellish, but I can deal. I also have one discussion which takes place at 7:00 PM on Thursdays. Owwie.
End: Wings are here. I shall return.
Odd: I return!
End: Not even gonna touch the Ian and Jess thing. Let's just say I think they're both twits for various reasons, but I'll most assuredly remain close friends with both.
End: I bought Grand Theft Auto San Andreas a couple days ago and haven't gotten a chance to play it beyond the first three missions due to a myriad of Stuff. I shall play once I finish this update.
End: STRINDBEEEEEERG!
Odd: Well, it's not ideal, but that Glade plug-in could certainly smell worse.
Odd: Went and watched the movie Saw with Ian the other night. God DAMN, that movie rocked. I don't remember the last time I was that spooked by a movie, or that I was that shocked at the ending. Go see it if you have a decently strong stomach.
Odd: The show "Drawn Together" on Comedy Central is awesomeness animated. Watch it. "Aww, you got us with the old Neck Sprain and Well-Lit Pie diversion!"
