Idek, my kitten was just like this before I had to get rid of her, so I kind of had to write this.

Warning: Fluff
On days that Sungmin could, he refused to get up before noon, because any day off was just an excuse to sleep in in his world, and leading the life he did, no one could blame him, especially not his other twelve band members, or even their manager hyung.
Unfortunately for him, no one had told his cat this, and Hyaku was one demanding little thing. Every morning, without fail, he’d paw at Sungmin’s chest, purr in his ear, and meow in his face at seven in the morning until Sungmin got up to feed him.
On any normal day, he was the perfect wake up call, but on those rare days off when their first schedule didn’t start until after noon, or at all even, it was nothing but a burden.
But Sungmin couldn’t just ignore his cat, now could he? So every day, without fail, Sungmin dragged himself out of bed at seven in the morning to feed Hyaku, consequently waking up his bed mate in the process.
On any normal day, they were both the perfect wake up call for Kyuhyun, but as with Sungmin, it was nothing but a burden when it was their day off.
Kyuhyun would lay sprawled out on his back with his eyes open and bleary after Sungmin got out of bed, unable to go back to sleep until he returned, and when he did, Kyuhyun would roll onto his side with his back to Sungmin and fall right back to sleep.
It was, by then, their routine.
--
It was on one day, however, that Sungmin returned from a harrowing schedule at five in the morning where as Kyuhyun had been in bed since three, that that routine made a slight change. They both knew the next day they’d be able to sleep in until ten at the very least, and it gave Sungmin more sleep than usual, but they both also knew he’d be awake again in two hours, and that small amount of time awake was sometimes the cause of an inability to go back to sleep. For both of them.
Sungmin’s stumbling entrance into their room was what woke Kyuhyun up, though it wouldn’t have mattered whether or not Sungmin had been loud, because Kyuhyun always woke up when he came home, and his entrance left Kyuhyun floating in that place halfway between asleep and awake until he felt Sungmin’s weight settle on the mattress, beneath the covers, and curl against Kyuhyun’s back side, and then he fell back asleep.
Gently prodding his own eternal alarm clock, he set it to wake him up forty-five minutes past six in the morning, and told himself it would keep Sungmin from facing that inability to go back to sleep, consequently saving himself from it as well.
He counted his blessings when he did wake up, and though he wanted almost desperately to just drop off back to sleep, he sat up in bed anyway, barely disturbing the knocked out Sungmin who’d managed to wiggle Kyuhyun all the way to the edge of the mattress with the way he’d sprawled out on his back.
When Hyaku hopped up on the bed ten minutes later, Kyuhyun picked him up carefully, the way Sungmin had taught him, and held him out a few inches in front of him, carrying him into the kitchen where he got the cat some cut up fish to put in a bowl and carry back to Sungmin’s room.
He was bleary eyed when he crawled back into bed where Sungmin had rolled himself up into a ball, but he wrapped himself around the smaller man anyway and planted a small kiss on the exposed skin of his neck before closing his eyes to go back to sleep.
“Hyaku…” Sungmin mumbled, almost incoherently, against his pillow, the early-morning sun shining on his face.
“Eating…sleep,” Kyuhyun mumbled back into the crook of his neck, tightening his arms around the smaller man.
“‘Kay.” Kyuhyun couldn’t help but smile at the easy compliance, and tumbled back into sleep with Sungmin in his arms, thinking he should be the one to feed Hyaku more often.
