AHHHHH!!!!!!!
You know, I was doing good today. Gave my presentation in Strategic Management, got a B on the last test I had in there. Today was the last day of class.
Before that tho, I noticed earlier that one of my external hard drives was making a clicky noise. Weird, but in the rush to look presentable I of course paid no attention.
I come home, ready to go have a little fun on the computer and I decide to restart. And it takes forever. Huh. So I shut it down and start over. It still takes forever. So I turn off the two giant externals I've got and it starts up.
Ok.
So then I look at the Computer screen where it lists all the hard drives. And one of them isn't there.
It holds nearly 1 tb of itunes files.
I am currently freaking out.
And do you know the sad irony? I was going to do transfer all of that over to the 2tb external hd tomorrow. And then I was going to make the cd copies on saturday.
I've tried everything. I've changed cables, power adapters, plugged it into another computer. Nothing. Neither computer recognizes that it's there. THe fucking thing is shot!!! argh!!!
So now I'm waiting for an online recovery service to get in touch with me in the hopes of getting at least some of that data back. At least a decent chunck of it was movies that i'd ripped but still....omg!!!! OMG!!!!!! AGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!
