update....
holy crap i haven't updated thing thingymabobber in way too long!
anywho, things have been alright i guess. band camp was insane. that's the only way i can describe it. bad insane, good insane, a little bit of everything. the performance at the end was awesome tho.....i get to be center podium for purgatorio! heck yes! which means i get the drum solo too....it kicks all amounts of booty and it's not even complete yet.
my classes are freakin awesome this year. i love all my teachers, especially mr. hellhake and mrs. finnin! she's soooo freakin funny. :P
so wind ensemble is huge this year, like....55 i think? and symphonic band is around 75. i miss wind ensemble my fresman year when it only had about 35 people....fun times.....but we've been playing all this week, and we sound really good so i'm excited!
wow so the directors are even more hardcore this year. which, in my opinion, is a good thing. perhaps we will all realize that they're not playing around anymore, and that it's time for us as a band to realize that being in band isn't a joke!
but anywho, on the brighter side of things, the chick-fil-a bowl trip to atlanta is fast approaching in december! heck yea so i get to start and end with a trip to atlanta. from freshman year to now, these are the best years....*tears* it's so sad that it's coming to an end.
